Editorial policy
A few firm rules keep a shopping guide honest.
Facts about products
Materials, sizes, silk weights and care lines come from each product’s own description. Where a description leaves something out, such as a strap length, we leave it out too.
The brand’s claims
Alaska Bear makes claims about comfort, light and silk. We repeat them as the brand’s words, in quotation marks or with its name attached. We make no health claims of our own for any product.
Sources
Statements about sleep, hearing and textile labels come from US government bodies: the NHLBI, the NIDCD and the FTC. We read each source in full and quote it word for word. Sources read 9 October 2026.
Ratings and reviews
Rating figures come from the product pages and are updated with the prices. Buyer reviews are quoted unchanged.
